Senior Sales Representative - Minneapolis Region

Ferno-Washington, Inc. currently has an opening for a Senior Sales Representative for the Minneapolis Region (including Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota).
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Sales Representative must achieve assigned sales quota by planning, developing, and delivering new and existing products to the EMS, Fire and Hospital markets of Ferno-Washington. Responsibility includes the sale of ERS products throughout the specified sales region. The planning, implementation, and evaluation process will utilize the combined efforts of the sales and marketing professionals to achieve sales and profit objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Strategically develop & implement a sales plan to achieve all targets.
· Advanced knowledge of sales, account management, forecasting, marketing, and customer service.
· Excellent planning, organizational, and time and territory management skills. The ability to support and manage several continuous activities.
· Responsible for calling on EMS staff and decision makers including private and municipal ambulance services, fire departments, hospitals, and other key accounts to identify potential sales opportunities.
· Excellent organizational skills and the proven ability to bring members of evaluation and selection committees together for presentations and demonstrations.
· Knowledge in training, product knowledge, medical technology, technical support, and customer application support.
· Actively participates in local and national trade shows
· Collaborate, communicate, and coordinate with other departments and disciplines, including marketing, commercial services, customer support, and sales administration to modify plans as appropriate to achieve objectives of Ferno-Washington.
· Maintain regular communication and personal contact with field sales professionals, professional organizations, and customers to keep abreast of market trends and evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing activities.
· Effectively manages a large multi-state geographic region
· Focuses on customer satisfaction by demonstrated teamwork and empowerment and continuously searching for ways to exceed our customer’s expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years related experience selling capital equipment, paramedic or EMT experience a plus.
Must possess excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Advanced communication and negotiating skills with strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
